Who we are

tocly is operated by Talvix LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company registered at 30 N Gould St, STE R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. When this policy says “we,” “us,” or “tocly,” it means Talvix LLC.

What we collect

We collect the minimum data necessary to provide the service:

• •Video transcripts. When you summarize a video, we send the transcript to an AI provider (OpenAI or Google) to generate the summary. The transcript is processed in real-time and not stored on our servers after your session ends.
• •Anonymous analytics. We use Amplitude to collect anonymous usage data — feature usage, error rates, and page views. No personally identifiable information is tied to these events.
• •Account data. When you create an account, we store your email address, plan type, and daily usage count. If you subscribe to Pro, your Stripe customer ID is stored for billing. We never share your data with third parties.

What we do not collect

• •Your YouTube account information
• •Your browsing history outside of tocly
• •Cookies that track you across other websites
• •Any data when the extension is not actively being used

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate tocly:

• •OpenAI / Google AI — to generate summaries from video transcripts
• •Vercel — hosting and infrastructure
• •Firebase — authentication and account data storage
• •Stripe — payment processing for Pro subscriptions
• •Amplitude — anonymous product analytics

Each provider processes data under their own privacy policies. We do not sell data to any third party.

Data retention

Video transcripts are discarded immediately after your summary is generated. Analytics data is retained in aggregate for up to 12 months. If you email us, we retain the correspondence for support purposes.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold by emailing contact@talvix.net. We respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU/EEA, you have additional rights under GDPR including data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Children

tocly is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of tocly after changes constitutes acceptance.
